Would the use of an image from the content library, with some form of additional artwork/icons or manipulation breach the license use of that material even if it was only to be reused within the Articulate Storyline? Can anyone advise please? I've added an attachment to demonstrate what I mean. The image is from articulate, I've added the icons in PPT and then re-imported back into my storyline slide show.
Thank you Veronica. As this this the first time I've posted in the forum, can you tell me if Articulate staff will also respond in here or do I need to contact Articulate Support? Many thanks in advance.
Thank you for reaching out! Veronica is correct: you are allowed to modify the images in the content library, as long as they're being used in your e-learning end product.
You may use the Content Files to develop your e-learning end product in our Services (“End Product”), including modifying and embedding the Content Files into your End Product, and reproducing and distributing the Content Files if integrated in your End Product. However, you may not use or distribute the Content Files on a stand-alone basis outside of your End Product. For clarification, you do not have any ownership rights in the Content Files themselves.

That is a great question Rachel.
I am pretty sure you are allowed to do what you have done to your text image, but hopefully Articulate staff can confirm this?

Hi, Rachel.

Take a look at section 2.11 of our Terms of Service:
I hope this helps!
Thanks Maria!
You can find similar images in the public domain (including some you will recognize) at sites like:

There are other sites that have a lot of creative commons and public domain images. You may have to do extra work to find only public domain content.

Many thanks for your response. We use a number of the sites you've listed. :)
