Copying Button States

Hey :)
I think I am missing something when creating custom buttons. Here is the scenario:

When I create a 3D button and adjust the states to my preferred design and then copy the finished button, the background of the button is not applied. I always have to adjust it.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix the problem so that the workflow is not interrupted?

Hi Andy,

Sorry to hear that you ran into this snag.

I tried replicating the behavior using a basic shape, and it looks like all changes that I made on the normal state were inherited by the other states.

It might be hard to tell from the screenshot, but both the Visited and Hover states have the glow and shadow effect that I applied to the Normal state.

Since the issue appears to be specific to when you create your 3D buttons, would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing!
