Any advice or concrete steps to embedding a Rise course into Storyline?
I took the shareable link from Rise and inserted it as a web object into Storyline. However, when I publish the course, the web object is not working. Should I be publishing the file in Rise instead of using the shareable link?
Hi Julie. Out of curiosity, why would you want/need to embed the Rise course inside a Storyline course? I would think you'd choose one or the other, with the possibility of occasionally wanting an interaction created in one to be used in the other.
Hi Scott, We have a course that was build in Rise, and we have a test that was built in Storyline. We wanted to use the testing features that we built into Storyline, so were trying to bring in the Rise content.
Ahh, I gotcha. I've heard more about importing Storyline into Rise, but haven't needed to create any hybrids yet. Perhaps you could more easily do the same with your test.
Hi, I understand how you can insert Rise content into Storyline. However, is it also possible to track the Rise content and see if someone has completed the Rise module? What I would like to do: Have a slide in SL with two buttons: New employees, "old" employees. If you click: I'm new, you'll get to the whole compliance module created in rise. If you say: I've already done it, you'll get directed to a list of questions as a pretest.
The only way to add Rise 360 content to a Storyline 360 course is by embedding it as a Web Object. There is currently no way to track the progress learners make inside embedded content since these are content that is hosted on a third-party environment.
I’ll be happy to pass your thoughts on to our product team, but you can also feel free to detail them more through a feature request!
Hello Joe, thank you for your message! I had already come to the conclusion after testing several options. I tried to trick the system and embedded the Storyline course with the embedded Rise element back into my Rise course. But it didn't work... :-) I think I'll leave another feature request.

Hi, Julie.
Thank you for reaching out!
Take a look at the article below with the steps to use a Rise 360 course in an iframe (which can be used as a web object in Storyline)
You will need to upload the Rise 360 course to a web server and use that link instead:
I hope this helps!
Hi Maria, thank you very much!

Good luck.

Is that doable?
Thanks a lot in advance!
