Is anyone out there using H.265 HVEC video encoding in their Articulate projects? Storyline supports the format. I just wonder if folks are seeing issues with players/browsers being able to handle it.
We'd love to start using those tightly compressed, high-quality videos but not sure the rest of the world is ready yet.
Is there any update on this? It would be good to use the H.265 codec in our projects - especially those that are video heavy in order to reduce project size. Be keen to hear from other users as well as Articulate on this.

Storyline cannot currently insert High-Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) formats.
We don't currently have plans for supporting this standard, but I'll add your plus one to the request, including details on why it would be helpful.
Another request that goes back over 2 years... Ah well.... my grandson might get to see it one day!
The file size of a project we are working on can be reduced from 2.6 GB in h264 to 900 MB in h265 !!
It would be great to see Storyline embracing these newer and more efficient codecs... but I suspect it will be some time if ever.
Please add support for uncompressed H265 video
Yeah, HVEC has been out for so long, was really hoping to use it with Storyline
but the browser support for h265 HVEC is not very good
