How to Upload My Module Online?

Jan 18, 2022

Hi.  I'm having trouble figuring out how to upload the module I developed on Articulate 360 Storyline online for my learners to access? Do I need to also acquire RISE now?

Thanks for your help,

Aaron

It depends on what you want.

If you want to keep track of those who access it and their scores, you probably need to zip it and load it to an LMS (Learning Management System).

If you are just making it available to an internal audience, upload the Storyline output folder to a place where they have access, and send out the URL for the story.html file.

If you want to make it free to the world, upload the storyline output folder to someplace like AWS, and send out the URL for the story.html file.

Thanks Walt and Veronica.

It is an "Articulate Storyline Story" file it says.

I may find a way to upload it internally. However, whenever I export a link, it links to a file which is on my home computer.

Is RISE the LMS system that is compatible if we wanted to go that route?

thanks for your help,

Hi, Aaron.

Thank you for reaching out!

When you open the file in Storyline 360, you will have different publishing options:

If you publish for LMS, you can upload it to any Learning Management System that is compatible with any of the formats Storyline supports (SCORM, Tin Can, cmi5, etc.).

Rise.com is also a Learning Management System that can work with Storyline files. You can learn more here.

Let me know if you have additional questions.
