I have a set of markers that have things the learner needs to know. They are different in the amount of information each has. Is it possible to set the pop-up with the typed words to remain open as long as the narration lasts for the individual pop-ups. What I want to ensure is that the learner does not just click and open the markers and then move on.
Then layer 1 covers the base, so there is no clicking and a narration plays when the timeline begins. The timeline of the layer is set to the length of the narration, and the layer is set to close when its timeline ends. Maybe you even want text.
Copy the layer, and replace the narration; the other settings will copy over.
One trigger per shape, and you load the narration (and text) on the layer rather than the marker.
If you want to attach what you have, I can show you how simple it can be, but I have no idea if it is even possible with markers.

You could always do this via layers and create your own marker.
I have used layers like this before and it gets too cumbersome for me.....
Show layer Popup1 when user hovers over Shape1
