Issues while creating Elearn via ppt

Nov 15, 2022

Hi All,

This is with regards to below articulate issue that I am facing while creating elearn. If anyone can help

- While uploading a ppt to create an elearn there is a pop up that
appears saying a particular font is unavailable in the articulate, wherein
no such font is used in the ppt
- When ppt is loaded , a few content goes missing
- Facing the alignment issue , even though the ppt is been prepared in
the same format as we have used in preparing earlier elearns.
- While i am trying to preview the entire elearn, it just shows white
screen

  • If the Articulate interface is advising you that a font is missing within Articulate, that could be one of several issues. I would first ensure that you have the latest version of the software, and that you are using a blank (fresh, new) file to import the PPT. Then I would verify that the "missing" font is not present within the PPT - it could be on a master slide or in some graphic. Then, if the font is still flagged as "missing," I would verify that the font exists on your system/laptop/device. If that is the case, then you may need to uninstall/reinstall Articulate to get it to recognize that the font is available.
  • When the PPT is imported and content is missing, that may be happening because the content is not in a standard PPT element (a content frame), but instead is in something else (such as a text box). To make it easier on yourself, do not import the entire PPT deck at once; try importing five to 10 slides at one time. That way you can see more accurately whether or not anything was not carried over.
  • For alignment problems: you should be using a clean Storyline file. And importing a smaller number of slides at one time (see above comments) will help you manage the corrections that may be needed.
  • If the preview is only showing a white screen, you may not have enabled any triggers to advance the story to the next slide....

Good luck!
