I'm creating a piece of learning on how to take a bearing using a map and compass. I'm aiming to use the "dial" tool to allow the learner to see turn the compass to X/360 degrees. I've got my dial set to have 360 points of rotation. Is there a quick way to set a text box to display which point its at? I've done about 20 "Set state of Text Box to x when Dial 1 turns if its value = value x" but its very time consuming!
I was also wondering if there's a means of having the dial able to spin a backwards past its point 0.

When you insert a dial, Storyline automatically creates a variable, which by default is named Dial1.
To show the current value, just insert a reference to that variable in your text box.
As far as I know, Storyline doesn't allow a dial to spin beyond its end point.
