Playbackspeed video weird text and request options for video

Hello,

I've searched the forum, but I can't find anyone with the same problem. With the new video controls in Articulate, users have the option to adjust playback speed.

One issue is that it doesn't integrate well with the text, as shown in the attachment.

Additionally, it would be really helpful if we could toggle the buttons on and off. For example, having the option to keep playback speed in the player and exclude the option for fullscreen/small player. Also, it would be great to disable features like skipping forward, etc. Hopefully, these functionalities will be included in a future update.

On a related note, please consider adding the option for a transparent player, not limited to just white or black. Even better, having the option to place the controls at the bottom of the video square without overlapping would be highly appreciated.

With the new video controls in Articulate, users have the option to adjust playback speed.

this is an old bug with languages - if there are new text entries in the player setting the text will be damaged

e.g. here is an course made before 2020, updated 2022 -> opened in SL 3.80

how to fix:

  • set the player language to a foreign language (e.g. Polish)
  • save the story file with a new name
  • close storyline
  • open the saved file
  • set in the player setting the language to the original language
