Publishing has started to take a very long time.

Hi All,

Since Friday afternoon, storyline has been taking a very long time to publish courses to review360. Prior to this, it would publish within 30-45secs and that was for a 100mb+ course. Now I am trying to publish a 100mb review (or just under) and it has already been on 'Updating Course' for nearly 10 mins and is only half-way through (there is 1 short video within). I have tried uninstalling and installing a fresh version but still doing the same.

@Articulate @Articulate community - is this a known problem which others have been having over the last week. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions to solve this sudden strange behaviour with SL360.

Hi Tom! I am sorry to hear that your course is taking longer to publish than usual.
Let me ask you a few questions to narrow down the issue:
  • Are you working from a local hard drive? We don’t recommend working with files on a network drive (or any folder with an automatic sync, such as OneDrive or Dropbox).
  • Is this only happening when updating a version or also when publishing a new file?
We released a new Storyline update earlier this week. If you haven’t yet, I recommend upgrading to the latest version (Build 3.62.27371.0) to see if it solves this issue.
