Question Bank makes no sense! Need help please.

Hi All,

I am creating a quiz course. Because the Storyline question bank does not allow you to eliminate already answered questions from being picked again, I split my course questions up into 3 banks to minimize this issue.

I then set up a slide with instructions, followed by 5 question bank questions from the first bank. I then have another slide as a sort of break, that is followed by 5 questions from the second question bank. This repeats once more.

The problem is, after getting into the first quiz, it just keeps pulling questions, it never gets to the first break slide and there is no option that I can see to control where the learner goes after answering a question bank slide.

Slide descriptions for my question (each bank has 7 questions):

1.1 Intructions slide

1.2 Q1 from bank 1

1.3 Q2 from bank 1

1.4 Q3 from bank 1

1.5 Q4 from bank 1

1.6 Q5 from bank 1

1.7 BREAK SLIDE

1.8 Q1 from bank 2

1.9 Q2 from bank 2

etc.... How do I get the learner to go from 1.6 to 1.7 after answering 5 bank questions?

Hi Andrew,

A few things that you need to consider to achieve your desired design:

Your question banks should have a slide in between each question bank.
Your question banks should be set to only pull 5 questions so that it doesn't give the appearance of pulling more than 5 questions before transitioning to the break slide.
You should also avoid placing "Jump to slide" triggers that could bypass the 'Break Slide' in the navigation.
