Hi, Katherine.

If you can share your .story file, I'm happy to take a look and offer suggestions!

You can change the when revisiting option in the slide properties. Right-click the base layer and select properties:

Windows 10 (1) 2022-05-18 at 10.40.57 AM

Screen Recording 2022-05-18 at 10.42.41 AM

Since this is a quiz, you can also add a Retry button to your results slide:

Windows 10 (1) 2022-05-18 at 10.44.12 AM

This will automatically create a trigger to reset the results (and clear the previous responses selected by the user).

I hope this helps!

Hi Maria, thanks so much for your help.

Here's what I'm going for. I want the user to click the (submit) button after the audio is complete and when the user gets the answer incorrect, to return to the base layer without replaying the audio. That's done. I want to enable the submit button to run normally when the student returns to the slide. that seems to be working

What's not working is when the user goes back to the slide, the quiz has not reset to its initial state, so the user can't re-do the quiz.  Of course, I set it to reset to the initial state and made sure the user had multiple tries with the question.   SO, what am I doing incorrectly that quiz won't reset?
