Risk It Storyline Game
Jul 01, 2020
We recently created an e-learning game to demonstrate some of the fun ways to use Storyline. In this case, it tests the learner’s knowledge of a specific topic - unconscious bias, but in a fun, underwater setting!
This was a really fun project to work on and a welcome distraction during these unprecedented times.
Kudos to my boss for giving me the time to work on this and to my colleague’s daughter (thanks Josephine!) for the fabulous voiceover – it made all the difference 😊
Thanks also to Joanna Kurpiewska for the original 2-player idea.

Hey Steve,
That was fun! Great topic to cover as well :)
Thanks Leslie and glad you enjoyed playing :)
Agreed, very fun, and VERY well done, thanks for sharing!
@Leslie, I beat you hehehe :)
But Hiccup is so cute, Brian. I had to give him some points :) Plus I wanted to hear all his expressions.
I totally missed how to play hiccup =|
I'll have to run through it again
This is fantastic, Steve! So many wonderful details. Josephine’s voiceover had me laughing! 😂
Thanks Sarah. I had lots of fun building it and Josephine’s voiceover definitely steals the show. I heard she was handsomely remunerated with sweets!
Wow! What a great example of a gamified course. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks Allison, glad you liked it :)
Fantastic game, the choice of bubble and time adds another level of engagement and fun, great to offer the audience so many choices. Hiccup is so endearing, love the responses.
Thanks and glad you enjoyed it :)
hi Steve.
Great game and super cute voice over :)
Thanks for menitoning , I hope things are OK by you and you're looking forward to a better 2021.
Thanks Joanna and good to hear from you from!
All good here thank you. I hope you're well too.
I'm just about to sign off for two weeks, so happy days :)
Nicely done. I do think you should randomize, or at least change, the voice responses so players don't hear the same little quip over and over.

Is there a way for the user to mute the timer? Can that be done? I love this game, and am somewhat a beginner at Storyline. I have been "at it" for quite some time trying to figure it out - with no luck.
Hi Sue,
Happy to help!
If you're willing to share a copy of the project that you're working on here or in private by opening a support case, we'll be glad to take a look at it so we can show you how to mute/disable a particular audio file.
