SCORM - Interaction Naming
Apr 15, 2022
Hi,
Hope someone can offer some guidance (if I can explain the issue!)
We use Totara. We have an assessment with about 50 questions total. Built in Storyline. We want to review the learner responses to ID any problematic questions so we can edit them.
The slide for each question is named in the .story. When we review interactions in the LMS, what we see is the attached. The ID column is the heart of the query here.
I can look at the source .story and see which question is Scene2_Slide1. But I need this to have the actual name of each question [the slide title] as we have it in Storyline.
Is there some way to ensure that the actual slide title carries into this report, rather than the scene/slide# as in the attached.
We'd like the course owner to be able to review this data on the LMS without resorting to a cheat sheet to figure out which question is which.
Many thanks

Hi, Michael.
Thank you for reaching out!
Do you know which SCORM spec you are using? SCORM 2004 should give you more information on the report than SCORM 1.2, if that's what you're currently selecting.
Let me know if that works!
Hi Maria,
Sorry for the delayed response & thanks for getting back to me.
I've tried using both. It looks like it the way it builds the scorm package is to use the slide sequence # rather than the name of each slide. Looks to be the way the internal script is built based on what I see in the SCORM file contents.
It is quite a job to change the name in the reports to the actual slide name so that we can analyze the questions.
