Screencasting through MS Teams

HELP - I am trying to screencast steps from my SME and SL isn't picking it up on the recording (because I'm not clicking my mouse).  Our company has Teams locked down on "request control" so I can't be the person clicking in the system.

Is there a work around or suggestion on how to proceed?  Your input is greatly appreciated.
