I try to preview my project and once it gets to a certain slide it just wont show up and keeps trying to load. If I start the preview on the slide it does the same thing. Yet, the rest of the project works.
It could be that there's something corrupt lurking on that slide. To find it, use the slide timeline to hide objects a few at a time. Then, preview the slide again. Keep repeating this until you are able to preview the slide. This should help you to narrow down which object is the culprit.
This was exactly my issue, and the resolution is spot on. I had 5 text boxes that faded in and out one after the other. This had worked fine many times before, but this one time... So, just replaced them and shebang! It worked.
I had this same problem. After going through hiding everything one by one and previewing, there didn't seem to be any one item on the slide that was corrupt. There was, however, a faulty trigger! For anyone who cannot find a slide element that's corrupt, try looking at triggers too!
Hi guys, I`ve come across this issue twice, both times because of a variable in a text box.
Once it happened to me right after I updated Storyline to the latest version which had been released the same day. Had to reinstall an older Storyline version, thus the bug was fixed for that case as I needed to Publish the course asap.
Today it happened to me again, this time with the in-built Results.ScorePoints variable on a Results slide. Had to create a new Results slide and use a newer Results1.ScorePoints variable.
Great idea opening a case! I'm happy that you've connected with my teammate, Mick, and he was able to help you find the corrupted image that resolved the issue.

Hey Rick and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Glad you were able to get this figured out. I appreciate you popping in to share.
Now I need to implement using 'shebang' in my replies :) I like it!

Thanks for popping in to share, Heather.
Glad that you were able to nail the culprit down.

Hi, Anastasia.
I'm happy to hear you were able to find a workaround!
If you run into those issues again, please reach out through a case so we can investigate what's happening in your project.
Hello,
I'm running into this issue as well. However I even created a new slide and re wrote everything but still encountering the loading page...
What else could it be?
