WordArt

I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to create a WordArt kind of feature or ways to create text in a WordArt kind of format in Storyline.

Hi Articulate Community,

Does this mean there is not a way to customize the line/border color of text?

We use text border color as an easy modification to make color contrast accessible in PowerPoint. (For example, color-coded letters can have a black outline and be placed on a white background.) I'd like to make the same modifications to an existing graphic with large text in Storyline 360. Is this possible?

Hi JJ!

I appreciate your checking on in this request to have WordArt features in Storyline 360.

We haven't made plans to add this specific formatting to Storyline 360 but we do offer other ways to comply with the Contrast criterion in WCAG Level AA.

In Storyline, you can use a contrast ratio of 4.5:1 or higher for on-screen text so learners with low vision can read it. Here’s a helpful contrast checker to determine your contrast ratio.

Another workaround would be to add this text in a shape or caption!

P.S. The built-in player themes meet this criterion too!
