Hi Carol- Welcome to the community! Thanks for taking the time to reach out here today. This isn't a feature of Storyline, however it's a great feature request! I recommend reaching out to our Product Development team to share your thoughts by way of this form. :)
Thanks, Lauren for checking in here! We've not yet added a WordArt feature into Storyline, but we'll certainly let folks know if we change course on that.
While you're at it, Ashley, there needs to be a smart art, slide design suggestions in addition to wordart. These are all great features of powerpoint.
Does this mean there is not a way to customize the line/border color of text?
We use text border color as an easy modification to make color contrast accessible in PowerPoint. (For example, color-coded letters can have a black outline and be placed on a white background.) I'd like to make the same modifications to an existing graphic with large text in Storyline 360. Is this possible?
I appreciate your checking on in this request to have WordArt features in Storyline 360.
We haven't made plans to add this specific formatting to Storyline 360 but we do offer other ways to comply with the Contrast criterion in WCAG Level AA.
In Storyline, you can use a contrast ratio of 4.5:1 or higher for on-screen text so learners with low vision can read it. Here’s a helpful contrast checker to determine your contrast ratio.
Another workaround would be to add this text in a shape or caption!
P.S. The built-in player themes meet this criterion too!
A Word Art feature is more than necessary to make visuals aesthetically pleasing. Implementing this feature would limit runaround and outsourcing for designers.
Needed WordArt to create a detective logo today..... going to PowerPoint to create it then import it. Adding my name to the list of designers that would like this feature
New to Storyline and spent a couple hours trying to figure out where the text "goodies" are, definitely something that is available in other applications and necessary here as well.
Hi! I was just looking for wordart for a project as well and found this thread. It would be excellent!! if this could be added. It would be a true value add when designing courses. Adding my name here for the wishlist
I appreciate you taking the time to share what you’d like to see in Storyline 360. We currently have this logged as a feature request, so I’ll go ahead and include your voice. We’ll update this discussion if this feature makes it on our feature roadmap.
Would add my name to the list of people as well. Word Art and more creative text design features would be helpful. Copying and pasting these types of things from PPT to Storyline is clunky and an unnecessary step in my opinion
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on a WordArt feature for Storyline 360. I've added your voice to the feature request. We'll let you know if anything changes!

Create in PowerPoint and export as picture or video, or screen snip.
Hi Everyone, I know if this an old thread but Is there still no WordArt feature?
