Sticker effect - fully editable Storyline freebie
Mar 10, 2015
I was mocking-up some bubble-style interaction today but finally created...nice sticker effect in Storyline. Here's how it looks like:
It's really easy and quickly to build - all you need is an oval, 2 chords, a button with an icon and some shape shadows. You can resize it, rotate the sticker and play around with the colors/gradient fills.
I'll be happy if it can be useful to someone in any project.
EDIT: the icon is actually a font - so to change its size, increase /decrease the font size.
EDIT2: As per Jeff's kindly suggestion I created some new stickers in PowerPoint - with new shapes and refreshed look (gradient, texture and pattern fills). Here's a screenshot of the content:
Enjoy the SL and PPT files attached below.

Have you animated it so it looks like you are peeling it off? These are very cool.

what font are the icons?
Thank you so much Joanna
This is awesome! And have 3D effect as well. I love this. Thanks!
These are static graphics, but feel free to animate them Britannia.
Hi Laurie
when you insert a button with an icon - a default font is set and it's Articulate.
Awesome! thanks :)
Joanna, Fantastic! This is probably an incredibly stupid question, but what is a chord? I struggle with editing shapes. Thanks!
Hi Ruth
chord is a shape available in "basic shapes" group in Storyline. Once you select a chord, yellow points appear, you can drag them and change the shape of the chord.
Here's a tutorial how to adjust the properties of shapes in Storyline.
Thank you so much!
Hi Ruth,
Just an FYI that replying via email includes your signature here - it doesn't look like there is any personal info you'd want to remove, but if you'd like you can edit the post to remove as needed.
Thank you Ashley!

You're soooo clever! thanks these are awesome!
Great, thank you!
thank you!!
Nice. Thanks for having it.
Thanks Joanna! I include a lot of attachments in my courses and am always looking for spruced-up icons to identify them with.
I am really late to this party but I love those stickers and created a few variations for us Studio '13 folks. Enjoy! (I love Storyline but more fun stuff for Studio users too, please!)
