My storyline was deactivated following a Windows update. I tried following the instructions to locate the app and Run as Administrator however, the program simply sits on the load page and does not progress past that point. I have no idea how to proceed from here. Will I potentially have to ask a member of my company's IT team to do it since they are "administrators"

Stop the current process with Task Manager and reboot your machine.
Once that new file is saved locally to your machine, please right-click it and choose to Run as Administrator. You're correct that you may need to enlist the help of your IT team for this!
