storyline three button on one slide then go to previous slide

Jun 22, 2021

Hi,

I have a project I am working on.  Here is my issue.  I have Scene 1 with two buttons that go to two different paths.  (I need the user to do both.) When the user clicks the button it will take them to slide 2. On Scene 2 I have three buttons each one goes to a new scene. After you click on each button, the button has a visited state. After the user clicks all three buttons I would like Scene 2 to automatically go back to Scene 1 so the user can take the other path to finish the course. Any ideas?  I have tried triggers and variable count but can not get it right. Help please.

Hi, Brian, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ✨

Thank you for the screenshot and the details of what you're trying to achieve!

You can use Storyline's built-in states to trigger an action when all the slides have been visited. On your slide with three buttons (the main menu on the first path), add a trigger to jump to the first slide if all the buttons are in the visited state:

I am attaching a sample .story file here. Let me know if this works!
