Strange bug on the result slide

Feb 10, 2021

Hello to all,

I have a strange bug on my result slide (This is a conditional scenario and the result slide only takes the questions visited in its score)

When I get to the result slide, the correct score is displayed (in percentage)

If I leave the module and go back in (by clicking on "resume" - The final percentage result changes (only when I refresh the first time...).

On the GIF capture below you can see the bug

Also, what I understood is that this 2nd result is always lower (it is no longer calculated on the questions visited, but on all questions).

There are 14 questions at 10 points. In my example, only 9 are visited (and 6 are good).

First result: 60/90*100 = 66.66
Second result : 60/140*100 = 42.85

I tried a lot of solutions (block the state of the device, add layers... etc....) Nothing works, unless I create a variable to "block" the result. But that's not enough for me, because the bad one is written on the "Print results" page.

I know this is a rather special problem, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Good day to all.

Hello Jonathan! ✨

I'm happy to share that we have released a new update for Storyline 360 (Build 3.77.30568.0).

In this update, we have implemented a fix for:

  • The final score for quizzes with branching could display incorrectly when refreshing the browser.

As a first stepI recommend updating Storyline 360 to the latest version. Here's how:

Update Authoring Apps

If you have any questions, please let us know in this thread or privately in a support case.

Have a great day!
