I will be out on maternity leave soon and will be out for several months. My supervisor wants to know whether we can somehow temporarily transfer the license to her so that we can continue to use the product in my absence. Or, if we cannot transfer the license, what other options are there to allow for someone else to temporarily use Articulate Storyline?
Hi Tracy, if you look under the help in Storyline you will see a "deactivate" key. You can use this to deactivate the licence on your computer. Your replacement should then be able to install Storyline on another computer and use your license.
Tracy, yes, just download and install. I've done this a LOT because I was having to regress to Update #2 every time I wanted to publish to Word. Just deactivate on your computer, install on your boss's, and put in your serial number
They now use email addresses , this process above may not work, or be best practice is some orgs . Check with IT. If your a small shop, maybe not a concern.
