Office Emotions Board Game

I found this challenge very inspirational because I've been wanting to create a game for a while, and I thought that using a variety of voices and tones for active listening was a perfect way to integrate a game. For the structure of the game, I drew inspiration from this post, but I also added in a points system for "empathy tokens" to give it some more engagement. I went for a soft pastel aesthetic inspired by watercolor painting to reflect the warm and empathetic feeling of the subject.

    Hi Lily,

Really great work! The concept fits the challenge perfectly, and visually it’s very appealing.

The only thing I noticed was the absence of a final result or finish slide. I played through to the end, but there wasn’t a closing screen, and I couldn’t roll the dice anymore. It made me wonder if I had run out of questions (I had a lot of 1- or 2-point moves), or if the result slide trigger didn’t activate properly.

Hi Ekaterina! Thank you for your feedback! That's strange, I had also heard that from another person who mostly rolled 1s and 2s. The finishing slide popped up for everyone else. I'll look into it.

Great concept work for sure.   It would be nice to see the triggers and variables being used, so I will have to go watch the post that inspired you. Thanks so much for sharing!

That sounds like such a thoughtful and creative idea! I love how you connected active listening with a game format, and the empathy tokens are a clever way to make it more engaging. The pastel watercolor aesthetic also feels like a perfect match for the theme—you’ve really tied the concept and design together beautifully.
