Opening Lines, Lasting Impressions
My demo this week was inspired by work I did in the past with a commercial insurance client whose associates would cold call prospective clients. I facilitated in-person training and coaching on how to craft and deliver an effective opening statement to keep the conversation going with the sales leads. I adapted that experience to hypothetical auto insurance sales pitches. The best sales associates always had great opening lines, used a tone that gave them credibility, and focused on the clients needs.
In this demo you can review 6 different opening statements and make judgments about what is effective. I was thinking you could also create something like this as a quiz exercise with text entry responses, but I just made it an interaction.
