Comparison between Powtoon and Vyond?

Hi there,

I've used Powtoon for around 3 years now. It took a bit of getting used to but now it's a regular part of my elearning development arsenal - everything from quick 3-5 seconds animations to full 2o minute explainer videos.

An animation created using Vyond recently caught my eye and I looked up their website. When I have some time I can dedicate to develpping some sample content, I plan to avail of the 14 day free trial, but in the meantime, it's hard to tell from the outside what advantage it might have over Powtoon or vice-versa.

I'd be very interested in the experiences of anyone who has used both these products.

I'd also be interested to know if Vyond typically do seasonal sales on subscriptions? We typically renew our Powtoon subscription around black friday to avail of the discounts they offer.
