Excel spreadsheets

Allows learners to change data, formulae and access tabs. Students can also download for their own records and submission.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Create preformatted spreadsheet in Excel
  2. Upload to Onedrive
  3. Right click file in Onedrive and select "embed"
  4. Select "Customize how this embedded workbook will appear to others" and turn on the following appearance setting
  5. Include a download link
  6. Turn on the following interactions
    1. Let people sort and filter
    2. Let people type into cells (their changes will not be saved), to the original file
  7. Copy the embed code
  8. Embed into Rise by using the Multimedia block and selecting embed
    Provide instructions on what students are to do

Here is another!

  1. Create Powerpoint (ensure you set the Powerpoint size in pixels)
  2. Upload to Onedrive
  3. Right click file in Onedrive and select "embed"
  4. Copy the embed code (change the dimensions in the embed code to match the actual pixel dimensions you used to set up the Powerpoint. This will ensure that there is no black border around the embedded Powerpoint.)
  5. Embed into Rise by using the Multimedia block and selecting embed
  6. Provide instructions on what students are to do

A great option for creating interactive graphics, even as a single page.
