Suicide Risk Factors Slider Interaction
Hello!
I am currently building a course on PTSD and Suicide Prevention. I am trying to make one slide on risk factors more interactive, so I added a slider, but go figure, it's not ever as simple as David makes it look haha.
What I would like to see happen is the background of the rectangles change from gray to yellow / orange / red when the slider is in the corresponding step, which I think I could easily see if it weren't for the twist I'm trying to add with the slider...
I don't know if there is a way to change the slider to have 3 different colors, so I created 3 rectangles (yellow / orange / red) and set the triggers to change states, but I'm having trouble figuring out slider triggers. The slider is only visible on the first layer, but then I can't see it because the colored rectangles cover it up on the other layers.
There is probably another design option that I can use, and I am more than open to suggestions and feedback.

Hi Emily,
in my opinion, you don't need any layers, simple 'Change state..' triggers should do the trick.Storyline file attached.

and this one also with triggers for the elements behind the slider :)

Awesome! Thanks so much!
I actually started with just changing the states, then changed my mind and apparently made it more difficult for myself haha.
