Uploaded Code Project won't print pdf in new window within rise course
Hey all—looking for some help!
I’ve been getting into coding and created an interactive worksheet that runs in a browser, guiding users through a series of questions to learn design thinking. At the end, it includes a “Print PDF” button that’s intended to open a new window for printing.
When I upload the project into Rise 360, everything works as expected in terms of navigation and progression. However, when users click the print button within the Rise course, they see the prompt—but it doesn’t actually open a new window or trigger the print function.
My assumption is that Rise may be blocking the new window/pop-up behavior, but I’m curious if anyone has run into something similar.
Has anyone found a workaround or solution to get this kind of functionality working within Rise?
Appreciate any guidance or ideas!

Rise won't allow you to print to PDF or Word. You could include a copy to clipboard function allowing your learners to paste their notes into a Word document. Alternatively create the interaction in Storyline and use it as an interaction in your Rise lesson. Do a search for my notepad for Rise and Storyline and use part of the code to achieve the above.
