Ellie the Enthusiastic Teen

For this week's challenge I present "Ellie the Enthusiastic Teen"

Demo: ELC 514 - Using Common Blocks and Interactions in New Ways | Review 360

The project started with an AI generated character using prompt in Rise.

Sitting in the kitchen

Ellie is a 16-year-old girl with curly medium length red hair and blue eyes.  Her lightly freckled nose and her curious smile make her attractive in an unusual way.  She likes to wear black clothing and is into Ska music.

Here is the Rise course where I created each scene with the prompts used to create each one.

Each scene was then uploaded to Meta AI with the prompt to "animate".  I animated each scene 4-6 times and saved the videos.

Each video was then combined with the original image in Articulate Replay 360.

There were 15 scenes total.

I took the original image for each scene and imported it to Powerpoint.  I selected them all and made them much smaller.  Then I placed them end to end and grouped them, and saved the group as an image for the Slider background.

Slider Magic

Did you know that Sliders can have states?  I took advatage of the fact by changing the thumb of the slider each time the value changed.

Noticed I named the states from 1-15.  This made changing the thumb state easy because it matched the Slider value.

I also used the Slider value to select the layer to open.

Copy and Repeat

Each scene is on its own layer with some very simple triggers.

Wrap it up with a quiz

Finally I created a simple "Pick Many" interaction using built in Storyline features.

This is SO COOL. I need to find another use for this brilliant idea! Thanks for getting me thinking!
