3D Models in Storyline
Pretty cool. So in theory the camera angle could be changed dynamically through keyboard input instead of mouse input, helping simulate a character turning around and moving in a simulated space.
Use the CTRL or ALT keys together with the mouse and you will have other views.
You can define the first "view position" by adjusting the settings in the index.html as well.

I got that, yeah. I mean more like creating a gamified experience of a character moving around, controlled by WASD keys. One implementation was shared here: Top Down Game Prototype2
Due to the challenges of 3D models in Storyline, that developer's implementation uses animated gifs, and exporting pre-rendered models to gif or webm is definitely feasible, but if a 3D model can be dynamically controlled at runtime, then there's a lower barrier to entry for creating learning experiences that provide a player avatar in 3D.
Another example would be this side-scrolling automobile simulation I made: Buckle Up! (movement example) | Review 360. The car is just a simple rectangle shape since my focus was more on the mechanics than the visual style, but if the rectangle could be replaced with a 3D model of an actual car and I were able to translate that same 3D model up and down the slide like the rectangle currently does, that would provide a much more immersive and visually interesting experience.

Now I got your point.
I showed a 3D object (GLB file) in my example. It is that what most use cases are for learning topic. If a 3D object is enough, you might want to create your own GLB file from an existing subject in your area. You can use an excellent (mainly free) app on iOS or Android for that: RealityScan - https://www.realityscan.com/
Your idea is more an environement to move in there. Something that can be created with Unity or Unreal (Epic). As I understood, it is not a single file at the end. I was looking for solutions about that as well in the past but didn't succeed.

I believe Cornerstone Immerse (previously TalentSpin) uses xAPI and Unity for their simulated conversations.
