Hi, yes I created my own hotkeys using a trigger as you have described. It is my understanding that a screen reader will override the key commands using their own key commands (which makes sense). However, I was anticipating the key commands I mentioned above to work without a screen reader - but they don't work in any situation. I'm using a Windows computer. I tried this using the Chrome browser.

The keyboard shortcuts should work with or without a screen reader. Thank you for sharing which computer and browser you're using. Have you tried using Firefox or Edge to see if that makes a difference?
