Adding an Author for Rise 360 Courses
This uses a snippet of html (its a great time to start learning html and css if you're using Rise). The method uses the way Rise's text editor works natively- just using different styles. I can make a screen recording if anyone wants to see the process.

Hi Phil, I just came across your post here about using a snippet of HTML to customize the Rise Course Avatar setting. It looks like maybe no one replied to your post so you didn't end up posting your solution. I would really like the ability to do this in a Rise course I'm working on. Hi Corri, this specific example is no longer possible due to a recent change to the 3rd party text editor that Rise uses. But there are still ways to add elements through theme components, including instructional text. One video you'll find interesting is adding elements to a Rise ui and introduces pseudo-elements, which I categorize as an "advanced CSS selector" in my theme course.
