Author info missing in Rise360 course
For some reason my author name/picture is missing in my rise360 course - published via quick share. It gives unknown user
Why is this happening? How can I fix it?
Thanks for the update, CherylKent!
I’m glad to hear that toggling the course author off and on did the trick. That refresh can help realign the metadata after publishing.
If anything feels off again, feel free to share the link, and we can take another look.

Looks like something is messed up with your account credentials. Go into:
Articulate 360 Dashboard > click on profile image in top-right > Account > Your Profile and check your details in there. - CherylKentCommunity Member
Thanks. My name and photo are in my profile and look OK. I have already done a couple of rise360 courses and it shows OK on them. But not on this course - looks ok in development though just not when I publish it. Don't know why it has suddenly stopped working.
Thanks for sharing this CherylKent, and thanks to Chris-Hurst for jumping in with a great first check. Since your profile details look correct and your other Rise courses are showing your author info as expected, this definitely isn’t typical.
When it only happens in one course and only after publishing, it usually means something in that specific course’s metadata didn’t attach correctly during Quick Share.
If you’re open to it, feel free to share the Quick Share link here, or you can send it to us privately in a support case. Our team can take a closer look and see what’s going on behind the scenes.
Happy to dig into it with you.

Hi Eric,
I think I have fixed it. I hid the course author, then published. Then went back to add the course author and republished and it seemed to pick it up OK.

Hi all,
It seems the problem occures again. After publishing to scorm for the LMS we use, the author picture is empty. I opened the zip/scormfile and notice that since the end of may '26 the author.avatar is not loaded. I can't find it any more in the map scormcontent/asset. When i look back to scorm/zipfiles from april and more back the avatar is loaded in scormcontent/assets as image_small.
I tried several solutions to ad the image, but i think the problem AND the solution lies with Articulate.
Any one else having this problem (again)?
I have to let you know i'm working on the European sever.Hi ProvincieNoord-,
Thanks for reaching out!
Are you seeing Unknown User like the original poster, or is it just the avatar that's missing? Is this happening across multiple courses or only in a specific course?
If you're comfortable sharing the project file with our team, we'd be happy to take a closer look. Having the file would help us better understand what's happening and determine whether this is related to a recent publishing change.

Thank you Kelly! We see the author, but the avatar is missing.
Our LMS-contracter in the Netherlands solved the published e-learning for now, but the original scorm/assets file stil misses the avatar. I uploaded it to your team.
Kind regards,Marianne Vester
