Adding audio in Rise
Good Day
I want to add narration to my content. The narration should automatically start as it would in storyline.
Can you please advise if this can be done, as i cannot see the option...

I’m excited to share that we’ve released a new Rise 360 update that includes the feature you requested:
- Insert audio in text, quote, statement, image, list, carousel, flashcard, tabs, and accordion blocks.
There’s nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available.

+1 for this feature. I've only been using Rise a short time but it often feels like a beta release… The inability to add audio to a flash card is quite an oversight. I guess embedding a Quizlet might be a workaround, but a shame this isn't built in functionality (yet).
Auto start on audio is required y most on my projects

I have a use for autoplay audio on flashcards too. That would perfectly fit my need. I'll look at doing it in Storyline.
I was able to add my script to Storyline, use text to speech option (I've found Matthew to be the least robotic) and export to my desktop. Then, I imported into the audio blocks for Rise.
Not the most lean process, but it helped me to achieve what I needed to.
I agree with everyone else, in today's learning world, students want a variety of teaching styles, NOT just reading the text. The inclusion of audio and autoplay features for flashcards, images, etc. would be such a help! Thank you!
Hey there, everyone. We've been listening to your experiences and wanted to share an update about automatically playing audio in Rise 360 courses.
Web browsers are moving toward stricter auto-play policies in order to improve the user experience. We agree that requiring some kind of action from the user- such as clicking a button before playing audio- is the right approach to ensure a unified experience for all learners. To that end, we won't be adding any auto-play features to Rise 360. However, we are looking at ways we may be able to provide narration features that don’t auto-play.Thank you for the update Crystal. I am adding my first recordings to a Rise course and I came straight to the forums for tips, and tricks, and experience. This thread has been very helpful to me.
please add the ability to add cc audio scripts
Hi everyone, I see from previous comments that there are a number of people who would - like myself - appreciate the ability to have narrative/voice recording in Rise Scenario's - Does anyone know if this is on the cards and for when?

Thanks for letting us know you need this feature. Adding audio to the scenario block isn't on our roadmap right now, but we'll let you know if that changes!
