Adding GIF to a SL slide NOT WORKING

Hi guys! I'm trying to add a GIF video to a slide. It saves ok, but I can't preview or publish the slide. I have to open the task manager and force SL to close. 

I made the GIF with Camtasia.

Is anybody having the same issue and if so, is there a way to make GIF elements work?

    But I have used gifs on SL in the past without a problem. Wondering if it's an issue with SL or the new version of Camtasia I'm working with.

    Hi Phil I think the issue starts when cropping the margins of the file. Will crop in Camtasia THEN move to SL to avoid the problem. 

    I wouldn't have thought this was an issue, as Ive done GIF cropping in the past and didnt have any issues.
