Adding Hardrives for storage

Happy to jump in here.
You should be fine saving your .story files to any additional local drive that gets installed on your machine. We only suggest users avoid working and saving directly off of network drives to prevent erratic behavior.

I went through this recently because my 235 GB storage was running low. I have requested a 4TB laptop. I advised my ITS department that it has to be saved locally because the files may not work if saved to a network drive. This information has been relayed by an Articulate webinar, and also the system requirements article. Not sure if this helps! But good luck, it took me 6 months to get a higher performing laptop.😄
Thanks-- I think my IT is asking if they can install a larger drive and leave the operating system as is on the current drive, thereby having 2 local drives -- or does it all have to be on the same drive even if they are both local.
