Adjust triggers so audio doesn't replay on return

I need some help with audio on my course.  I have a couple of slides where there are layers and you have to go back to the home slide to get to the next layer.  The problem I have is that the audio is restarting.  I have searched through other topics and tried the suggestions offered, but what those suggestions are showing, doesn't match the options I see when I try to replicate the variables.  My slides are set to allow the user to advance, not auto advance.  They are currently set to reset to initial state when visiting but I have also tried resume saved state and automatically decide.  Slide 4.2 is an example of the slide I am working on.  What am I missing?

Jumping to a slide reloads it from scratch, even when it’s the slide you’re already on. To fix it on slide 4.2 you say you’re working on, on layer restart now - change the button’s trigger from Jump to slide 4.2 to hide layer (“this layer”). On layer pick a time - make same change. Layer restart tonight - currently jumps to 5.1, leave it if that’s intentional as it won’t affect this fix. On each layer, open slide layer properties and tick pause timeline of base layer. The base narration will pause when the layer opens and resume from exactly where it stopped when the layer is hidden, rather than talking over your layer audio. Once the buttons hide the layer instead of jumping, you never leave the slide, so the revisit setting stops mattering. You can put it back to reset to initial state. And you don’t need the variable workaround at all. There’s a few other things in the other layers and base layer that need a look at as they don’t seem right but I’m sure you’ll work them out.
