Adjusting Volume Button default setting

I would also like to know this, I need to set the volume down to 20 to be comfortable and would like to make that the default. I would rather user turn up the volume than down

Currently, you can adjust the volume on a per-slide basis by clicking on the speaker icon to reveal the Sound Tools options. The default settings are Low, Medium, High, and Mute. For more robust controls or global settings, please feel free to submit a feature request. Thanks!

I have an issue with the volume varying on each slide (they were recorded by different people with different software).  Is there a way to set a certain volume level on each slide so each slide is at the same volume level?

Hi Dana! You may find this thread helpful. There is not a global way to do this in Storyline.

Just dusting off this thread, will there be any enhancements to Storyline to be able to change the default 80% volume setting in our Player Properties options?

Content creators can't always record at a consistent level and to even out the playback it would be really helpful to be able to control the volume within the articulate file as an additional Player Properties object.

This is a great idea for a feature request and others think so too! Being able to normalize audio volume has been submitted as a feature request and is being tracked by our team. Your voice has been added to that request. This discussion will be updated as soon as we have some new information.

Just following up on this thread to see where the feature request is at for the abilty to adjust the default volume of the player. Being able to set the default volume of the player would be a huge help.
