I am having the same issues with the AI voice assistant in Storyline. I use Addison 2.0 exclusively, and am getting the occasional New Zealand accent on some of the slides as I'm producing demonstration videos in Storyline for a computer program.

I also found that some of the voices that are listed as Australian don't sound Australian. I tried several before settling on Addison 2.0.

    Sorry to hear that AI Voiceover quality in Storyline has been inconsistent for you.

    I can confirm that our team is tracking a bug in Storyline that causes:

    • AI-generated Voiceover audio may use inconsistent accents or tones

     

    I've included both of your voices in the bug report, so we can update you as soon as a fix is in place.

    In the meantime, I suggest exploring our new Version 4 model. This model includes improvements to voice accuracy and consistency. As well as a more expressive delivery. You can test an experimental accent tag, such as [strong X accent], before the text you’re generating.
