I was super excited to try out the new AI Assistant AI-generated Captions functionality but unfortunately when I attempt to generate captions for both mp3 audio files and mp4 video files I receive the following error message: I work for a government agency with pretty strict firewalls so I am assuming that might be the issue but was curious if anyone else has experienced it. If not, I was wondering if there was a specific Network Endpoint or URL that I need to have my agency whitelist in order to make this work. Thank you to anyone who might be able to help me out.98Views0likes10CommentsHow to Sync AI Narration with SRT or SBV file
Hi, I recorded a tutorial with my own voice and I would love to be able to just replace my voice with AI narration. Is that option available yet? I've tried importing both SRT and SBV files but it reads all of the time codes rather than reading the narration at the appropriate time. Is there a way to sync my AI Narration with the SRT or SBV files or just replace my voice with one of the SL360 voices? Hello All, I am starting new project where I need to create Grammar related Paragraph and I have to give Drop down in between for learners to answer to complete the paragraph. I have already created one Activity but it's TDS work to do as I have lot's of Paragraph Which need to be created. Anyone having new technic where I don't need resize dropdown box and shapes every time for each word's. Thanks In Advance Amit PInconsistent pronunciation with AI text to speech
In my script, CIP should be pronounced "sip," and I have that covered mostly by typing "sip." In some cases, (everyone's favorite) Matilda pronounces it s-ep, or s-i-p. In the space of two paragraphs, it is pronounced incorrectly and then correctly. I even copied the text where it is pronounced correctly and pasted where it was incorrect, and it made up another incorrect pronunciation... I'm baffled. Any ideas???🎧 Making accessibility effortless in Storyline 360!
We recently rolled out automatic closed captions generation in version 3.105.35604.0, and it’s already one of my favorite recent additions. Now, when you insert a video into your project, Storyline will ask if you’d like to let AI generate captions automatically. Just click yes, and we’ll take care of it in the background while you keep building. You can even tell Storyline to remember your choice for next time. When the captions are ready, you’ll get a quick prompt to review them in the closed captions editor, and the Accessibility Checker will help flag any unreviewed captions you should double-check before sharing your course with learners. This update removes one of the most tedious parts of video-based course creation while helping more authors meet accessibility standards by default. Have you had a chance to check this feature out yet? I'd love to hear about how it's improving your course authoring workflow! 🎥 Here’s a quick look at how it works 👇16Views1like0CommentsInegrate MS Copilot in Rise or Storyline Projects
Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well! I'm currently working on several e-learning projects using Articulate Rise and I'm interested in integrating Microsoft Copilot directly into these projects. The goal is to provide users with a chatbot they can access at any time to ask questions and get immediate assistance. Our company has approved the use of Microsoft Copilot, so it's essential that we use this specific tool. I have experience with Rise and I believe it might be possible to integrate Copilot via a Storyline block. Has anyone here done something similar or have any advice on how to achieve this integration? Any tips, resources, or examples would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help! Hi everyone, I know this has been asked before, but it's something I'm still struggling with as I'm polishing up my final portfolio for my grad program. I tried several different options and used the code I found from several different sources, but no matter what I did regarding code and triggers, I couldn't get my AI Chatbox to function correctly. It's intended as a representative example for students to ask health care-adjacent questions that aren't entirely answered by the microlearning itself. I was nervous about including my API key and didn't use any third-party tools. Do people have successful examples of this working? If so, could I have some advice? Thanks so much!Paint & Photos apps on Win10 - edit AI graphics
Just watched this great webinar where Tom Kuhlman showed how to use apps (Paint & Photos) built into Windows to edit AI graphics (vectors and photos) that he gen'd in Storyline and Rise. Edit AI Images Using Free Windows Tools | Articulate - Community But I assume he was using Win11. I'm still on Win10 at work, so those same apps seem to have much less functionality. I'm guessing quite a few people are in the same boat, so I'd be grateful for any pointers about how to bridge the graphic-editing gap while still on Win10. 🚀 Big things are coming to Storyline 360. Last month at the Articuland Summit in Boston, our COO Brian Gil gave a sneak peek at something our team’s been quietly working on: AI-powered animations inside Storyline. We've been calling this feature "chat to animation" internally. The idea is simple but powerful: talk to Storyline's AI Assistant about how you want your slide to animate, and it helps bring your vision to life. The attached video shows a little preview of this feature in a fun "Feline Overlord" themed Storyline course. 🐱👇 On the first slide, I entered this prompt into the AI Assistant chat: “Can you suggest an animation scheme for this slide?” It broke down the suggested animation effects for each object, then asked if I want to create a trigger for them. After responding, "yes", the AI Assistant wrote the JavaScript code to create the animations and automatically associated it with the "When timeline starts" event. It also surfaced a "Preview" button that jumps into Storyline's preview mode so I could see the animation in action. Notice that the AI Assistant window stays visible during preview. This means I can refine the animation while previewing to home in on the exact look and feel I want. In this case, I wanted to delay the slight "pulse" of the yellow next arrow to begin after the image and text animations completed, so I entered: “Great! Can you delay the animation on the next arrow a bit so that it starts after the other objects have animated in?” The AI revised the JavaScript in the trigger and immediately replayed the slide again so I could see the change and tweak further if needed. That ability to preview, refine, and replay instantly is what makes this experience feel so magical. If you'd like to see the published course in action, you can find it on Review 360: Chat To Animation Teaser | Review 360 This feature should land in private beta soon, and we'd love to get your feedback.
