I'm trying to import a PowerPoint presentation that we developed some time ago into AI Assistant Rise. The module comprises over 50 slides and is already fully structured. However, I'm encountering an issue: when importing the content, the AI summarises it regardless of the settings I adjust. Is there not a way to import the content without it being summarised or altered?Solved112Views0likes7CommentsAI Text-to-Speech Generating Captions Even When Box Unchecked
Hello, Has anyone else experienced Storyline generating CC with the AI text-to-speech tool even when the box is unchecked (screenshot attached)? Storyline is adding them regardless of whether I check the box. It takes the text as entered and uses those for the caption. I prefer them to not be generated this way because: I add punctuation, caps lock, and syntax to the text to manipulate voice emphasis, pauses, etc., that I don't want in the captions Generating captions via Manage Captions -> Generate with AI after the fact tends to group and space caption blocks more appropriately Not auto-captioning helps the review process, as the accessibility checker flags captionless bits I couldn't find any other posts on this so I'm wondering if it's a universal bug or just my install.Introducing AI Chat + JavaScript Entrance Animations
Now you can chat with AI to generate simple JavaScript animations for your slide, making it easier to bring your ideas to life. Update to the latest version to give it a try and let us know what you think! To help you get started, we have a video walkthrough, a tutorial course, and documentation to learn more about how it works, see sample prompts, and animation examples that can all be found here. Why JavaScript? This update is our first step in helping authors experiment and push creative boundaries. Based on your feedback, we’re already working on support for built-in animations—and we’ll be sharing a preview soon! We’re also exploring more ways AI can handle tedious tasks for you, so let us know what you’d like AI Assistant to be able to do for you! Try It Out! Use AI Chat to make an object fly in from the right side of the screen after one second. Feel free to get creative—frisbee flying across a park? Plane flying across a cloudy sky? Sky's the limit (see what we did there?)! Share your example in the comments below!879Views7likes14CommentsNew in Rise 360: AI-Generated Captions (Beta)

Hi everyone, Here's a question. If I open a Storyline file which contains AI-generated text-to-speech narration created by someone else, but I don't have the AI assistant and want to make edits to the narration myself, is there a way for me to make edits without AI or do I have to have the AI assistant installed to make these edits? Thank you!81Views0likes6CommentsYou can now Localize Text to Speech on Rise and Storyline!
We’re thrilled to announce an exciting enhancement for all Localization Pro users! When you translate your course, the script will be automatically translated and new audio will be generated and re-inserted in the target language, saving you time and effort. What’s New With this update, translation now includes: Automatic translation of the script (the text that powers Text to Speech). Automatic generation and insertion of localized audio in your translated course. Validator updates: Validators can now update the script, and importing their suggestion will automatically update the audio as well. This functionality is now live in both Rise and Storyline. Important Note for Storyline Users This update applies to both AI Text to Speech and Legacy Text to Speech shapes. You’ll no longer need to manually replace audio after translation, it’s all handled automatically during the translation process! Next Steps We’d love to hear your feedback and learn about your experience using this new feature. Your insights are invaluable as we continue refining how teams create localized learning experiences.306Views2likes6CommentsAI Assistant and Review Process
For those who create courses using AI Assistant - what is your content review process? For example, how do you ensure that generated outputs do not infringe on existing copyrights or intellectual property? How do you confirm content validity, reliable resources, and fact-check?Prompt for "full body character shots" for the AI Image generator
Greetings, Simple question, hopefully, how can I tell the AI image generator to "give me a full body shot" of a character I'm listing traits for? I'm running into this issue and it drives me crazy: everytime I want Storyline to generate a character, of any kind, with various prompts, using the AI image generator, it cannot or heavily struggles to get me 4 "full body shots". I'm always asking for the portrait format, not square or landscape. In photography, a full body shot is "from head to toe, completely framing the subject". Right now, unless I'm adding "walking" to my prompts, I'm getting Italian shots (head to pelvis), portraits and close-ups. If I write "standing", "full body shot" and whatnot, it doesn't generate complete characters. Please note for traits, be eyes, hair, eyes, skin color, outfits and such, Articulate's AI is... pretty spot on. It's not perfect and there are mishaps, but design-wise, it gets the job done. However, if I ask for a character, I do expect a full body shot unless I'm asking specific framing prompts. I currently have the Dec. 17th 2025 version of Storyline (3.107.35974.0), if that can tell you how the AI was fine-tuned by now. I know there's a new update today, but... right now I'm using the December version, since I needed to update Storyline right away a few days ago and I can wait for later versions. Thanks in advance and have a nice day :)137Views0likes2CommentsIntegrate an AI Learning Assistant /Chatbot in Rise Courses via CodeBlock?
I’m wondering whether it’s possible to integrate an AI-powered learning assistant into a Rise e-learning course (e.g., via a Code Block) that can access the entire course content—and ideally beyond—so learners can ask questions and interact socially. Constraints: ChatGPT integration is not an option. We use Microsoft Copilot, but creating a direct interface seems very challenging. Data privacy is a critical concern. Questions: Has anyone experimented with alternative LLMs or approaches for this scenario? Are there privacy-friendly solutions (e.g., on-premise or self-hosted models) that could work? Any creative ideas for enabling learner interaction without compromising compliance? Looking forward to hearing your experiences and suggestions!32Views0likes0Comments
