AI Assistant's Magic Quiz Import
Has anyone been successful using AI Assistant's Magic Quiz Import in Rise 360? I was excited to receive the email that this is a new feature. This would be game-changing for us, saving hours of manual work building quizzes from scratch. I've received an error code every time I've tried to use it (importing from a Word document) and haven't heard back from support. Any suggestions?

Hi, tried to test it today (also from a Word document) - same problem. I tried several things: deleting images, removing a header at the beginning of the quiz, ensured that the number of characters and file size do not exceed the limits - nothing worked. Still get an error.
Would really appreciate getting that fixed, as importing 60 questions would be way easier than typing them in manually 😉
Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with Magic Quiz Import in Rise 360.
In Google Chrome, I tested the behavior on my end by uploading various Word documents with AI Assistant, but could not trigger any errors. No worries! I've opened a support case on your behalf, so our support engineers can work with you directly on this issue. They should be following up with you shortly.
In the meantime, I have some follow-up questions to help us troubleshoot this better:
- Do the errors occur across all courses, or only specific ones?
- Have you tried clearing your browser's cache, or using a different supported browser to rule out any browser-specific issues?
- If possible, have you tested the import on a different internet network?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I have also failed every time I've tried the Magic Quiz Import.
I've tried .docx and .txt
The file is not over the size limit nor the character limit. I believe the text formatting shows clearly what is a question, what are answers and which answers are correct.
I don't know what else to try...

Is there a Word template for this? I found an excel template for Storyline and tried it, but Excel isn't an upload option. It seems like it would make sense to use the same tech across products? In my case, I don't want the AI to do anything with my questions. I want to upload my questions as a quiz exactly as I want them. Fortunately for the current course, I only have 10 questions, but other courses will have 50 and I don't want to enter them one at a time.
The new Rise Magic Quiz import tool should be flexible enough to accept the questions in a document in whatever format you have them in without the need to use specific template. I recommend doc, pdf, or txt files. It's helpful to clearly indicate eg. correct answers, but other than that it should be very flexible. Please let me know how it works for you!

I've had success creating a multichoice quiz with Magic quiz. I did a copy and paste of all the questions listed in an unformatted Word doc. I wasn't sure how to handle the correct responses as our answer keys are typically listed in a separate doc (question represented as numbers, correct answers represented as letters). To my surprise, Magic Quiz marked the correct response for each question and got 80% of them right. Magic Quiz also stripped out the question numbers and response letters without any prompts from me (which is what I wanted). Pretty slick.
