Hello, I had a question about whether the AI Tutor could extract information from a video, or if I had a resources section, would it be able to extract information? It only seems to be extracting text information. Thanks

Can AI Tutor answer questions about video content?
Not yet. AI Tutor currently focuses on text content. We're exploring support for video content.

The user guide info should be updated to mention videos with captions. AI Tutor doesn't extract video content, but it will read the video transcript file. As long as your videos have captions, the content is part of the general knowledge AI Tutor can read.

I think it is included in the AI features(?)
I was wondering what if I enable the AI Tutor now, while I'm on the free-trial: will the courses I have already exported and uploaded on my LMS stop having the AI tutor once my free AI trial ends?Hi AlessandraBo759,
Great question.
Published SCORM packages uploaded to an LMS will continue to function independently of your trial or paid subscription status. This functionality includes features that were included in your course at the time of publishing. However, you will not be able to access the source file to make edits to the course without a trial or paid subscription.
Please let me know if you need anything else!

StevenBenassi Is AI Tutor only visible once it has been uploaded to the LMS? I am trying to see what it will look like but it doesn't appear to show in Review.
Hi JenniferThiele-,
Thanks for reaching out.
As AlessandraBo759 mentioned, access to AI Tutor is included in subscriptions with AI Assistant enabled. There is no additional cost necessary to use this specific feature.

I noticed the AI tutor today in one new lesson, not any others. AI Assistant isn't enabled on our account, so how could the tutor be active in one lesson? Does AI Assistant work on a user level? We have several licenses, so could one user activate it when creating one lesson?
Hey PhilWade,
Happy to help with this.
Only Articulate 360 Team Admins can control which individual Creators have access to AI Assistant features. However, this is only possible if a subscription has AI Assistant enabled. I can confirm that your subscription doesn't include AI Assistant, so those permission settings wouldn't apply in this case.
Is there a chance you're seeing the AI Assistant button in the Rise 360 authoring interface, rather than the AI Tutor feature itself? The AI Assistant button is visible in Rise even for subscriptions that don't include the AI Assistant add-on. Selecting it only prompts users to start a trial or purchase AI Assistant.
Do you mind sharing a screenshot of what you're seeing? It can help us better understand what you're experiencing on your end.

Hi,
Is there a way to see the usage of the AI Tutor in reportings?
It would be interesting do know how much the final users interact with it. Knowing what they ask to the AI Tutor would be even better.
Thank youHi andres_marcos,
Currently, Rise 360 does not support a reporting option for AI Tutor.
By default, learner conversations with AI Tutor are kept private to the learner and the system. Our team is exploring the ability to provide creators with course-relevant, anonymized feedback from learner sessions.
We'll be sure to notify you if we release this enhancement in a future update!
