Allow a storyline block to retain it's resume position, when revisiting a lesson

Hi

We are creating a video resource using RISE, and the videos are held within storyline blocks.  So we have say, Topic 1 to 5 on the left hand side of the menu, which when clicked on will play a SL block and users can interact with the videos within.  Yet if they click on a different topic, (say topic 2) and then revisit the original topic, (Topic 1), the SL block restarts and they have lost the markers we placed in the storyline build, where variables track what videos they watch, and the user has to start again;  as the SL Block has reset, rather than resuming and the variables recalling their choices - as it would when it's on an LMS.  Any way around this?

  • Any update on this? This feature would enable us to build multi-attempt assessments in SL and run them in Rise. Thank you!

Nothing a student does in a Rise Lesson for any block type is recorded or restored when a student revisits a previously attempted Lesson.
