Objects move position in Preview or Publish

I check to make sure the object is lined up while editing, but once I view in Preview or Publish, the item moves significantly. I made sure my computer is set to 100% scaling. Look at the placement of the oval over the "Cancel" button and how it shifts up at least 2-3 pixels from Edit to Preview mode. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated as this is happening to all objects that I insert.

  • Hello ElizabethHal698

I understand you are experiencing a change in the positioning of an oval object beneath the Cancel button in Storyline 360 when previewing or publishing your course. I wasn't able to replicate this behavior on my end, so I'm happy to learn more!

    • Does this happen with specifically oval objects only, or with any objects that you insert into your slide?
    • If you import your current slides into a brand new .story file, do you still experience this behavior in Preview/Published views?
    • Are you experiencing this behavior with any other projects you're currently working on?

If you are running the latest version of Storyline 360 (Update 110) and this is occurring across multiple project files, I recommend a repair of Storyline 360. A repair can fix some unexpected or erratic behavior.

If, after repairing, you are still experiencing this, we'd be happy to take a closer look at your .story file in this thread or privately in a support case so our team can investigate further!

Looking forward to hearing from you!
