Since the Vyond community was retired, it's hard to get answers for Yvond, I know a lot of people still use it so I hope it's okay to post my question here.

Hi Darthwilson​ according to this page https://www.vyond.com/faqs/ under the heading "What video formats can I export in?" the information says "You can export your videos as an MP4, WebM file, animated GIF, or as a sequence of still images." It doesn't specify PNG, but does specify images and is highly likely to be PNG due to quality/filesize.
