Anyway to remove Menu in Preview
I have not yet Published my training (I am working on the free trial, so I don't know if I should publish or not, and if so, to where?).
My quesiton is: I don't like the fact that students can cheat and use the menu to skip sections of the training, can even go to the end. Is this something that is not available to the students once the training is Published? Or, is it always an option. If it is an option, can it be turned off (and how?)?
Thanks again for all of the help I've gotten!

Julie,
You can completely remove the menu, or lock it down. This is all done in the player area. Click home tab, player.
Then you can deselect the menu option. (this will remove the menu completely).
If you'd like it present, but locked down, in this same area, click the menu button at the top. And then the gear icon.
You'll find options to lockdown the nav.

hello Mike,
I did try everything suggested here but I still have the issue with removing the menu for the whole project. The only thing that works is removing the menu from the slide properties, but my project is large and it would be very time consuming to do this for every slide in the project. Can you please advise on this matter?
Thanks
Marijana
Hello Marijana,
You can modify the slide properties for multiple slides at once in Story View. Simply select the slides you want to modify then go to Slide Properties in the lower right to change their settings. Here's a video showing how this is done.
Hope this helps!

The menu will not go away! No matter what I deselect the menu is there taking up space.

I had to right click on the slide and select properties and deslect Menu there...

I have unticked menu from both Enage player and Presenter player. Stil the mnu appears in the published output.
Any suggestions please.
Hi Raveendran and welcome to E-Learning Heroes
Here are the directions for the Presenter Menu, but it sounds like you have already taken care of this.
Be sure that you do not have a custom player on one of your slides:
Hi Raveendran and welcome to Heroes!
You'll also want to check that you didn't set any custom player settings on individual slides, as those will override what you set in the Player properties for all slides.

In Storyline 2 I de-selected Menu in the Player. When I published for HTML5 and view the course in my laptop, the Menu does not appear. When I view it in my tablet, the Menu still appears. Any advice? Thanks!
Hi Linda,
What browser or tablet are you using to view the HTML5 output? You'll want to make sure you're viewing in one of the supported options here.
If you'd like, we're also happy to take a look - could you share the .story file with us here?
