Articulate Rise Share Link
Hi PoukhanAnthony I think it is a risky approach.
For example, if the course was very popular, and started to drive a large amount of traffic to the Articulate website, this would raise a red flag for the Articulate team and they would look into why a Preview link was driving so much traffic. If this happened over an extended period, I think you would be asked to remove the Preview link as it is not the expected use. This I think would be a real risk.
The other risk to your client is if your account is discontinued for any reason, I believe the Preview link would go with it.
There is more control over how the content is served is using a dedicated webserver. Articulate are not bound by any contract, I doubt, to keep that Preview link live, but a website provider is bound by a contract to keep your web server running.
Thanks! I reiterated to my co-worker that she should publish her Rise toolkit on the web and gave her some reasons. Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to be concerned. 🤷
