Sorry to hear you've run into this snag!
Since the Storyline course performs as expected with Chrome, I suggest connecting with Moodle support to see if there are any known issues on their end. Also, we have other Moodle users here in the E-Learning Heroes community. I'll open the floor to them to share additional insight and suggestions!
