Asking for suggestion: Checking learner improvement

Hello guys!

I wanted to add a survey for my course about how the learner views their familiarity about a topic and have them answer the same survey again after the course.

I want them to be able to compare their answers from the first survey at the beginning and the survey at the end. Is it possible to do that? I am creating the surveys using storyline and using storyline blocks to integrate them into my course in Rise360.

  • That'd be easy to do if the entire course was developed in Storyline (SL), because you could store the responses in variables. Variable values are available from anywhere in the SL course.

That's not so in Rise, however. You can use variables within a given SL block. But those variables aren't accessible to Rise. (Well, not without JavaScript or other special programming.)

Thank you so much for your response Judy! Hope in the future rise and storyline can share those variables.
