Audio + animation syncing — why does it drift at the end?
I synced audio narration with object animations, and everything looks good in preview. But by the end of the slide, the timing drifts just enough to look out of sync.
Could this be a timeline compression issue, or is there a better way to lock animations perfectly to audio?

Hi,
Here are some ideas that may work:
- Import the audio as an MP3 file, if you have not done so already. Storyline compresses audio files, but I believe it should leave an imported MP3 file alone, as it is already compressed. Then, sync up your objects to the audio file and see if they stay in sync.
- If #1 does not work, you might also try adding cue points on the timeline. If you can put your cue points precisely where the animation is supposed to begin, and then add a trigger to start the animation from the cue point, you might end up with the control over the animation you need.
If this answers your question, please mark it solved. Otherwise, feel free to ask a follow-up question.
